Loaves & Fishes Community Food Pantry

CHALLENGE

A fundraising campaign should raise awareness, be financially successful and make all those who participate feel good. No exception here! This fundraiser for a local food pantry was designed to “warm the heart and nourish the soul”.

APPROACH

Teamed with a small group of fellow food aficionados, The Thomas Group created this one-of-a-kind cookbook as a pro-bono project. Comprising recipes from renowned Chicago-area chefs and restaurants, and amazing neighborhood friends, Culinary Comforts was all about creating that “warm and fuzzy” feeling.

RESULTS

We kicked off sales with a Thanksgiving weekend tasting at Whole Foods, followed up by other events around town. The cookbook quickly became “The Gift that Gives Back” and nearly sold out the entire print run by the end of the year.
